Description
It’s probably not what you expect from a typical puzzle game. In Mysterious Elevator, you’re stuck inside an old elevator that creaks and rattles as you descend one level at a time—each floor hiding some new mathematical or logic riddle. Sometimes it’s quick arithmetic, other times you’re wrestling with signs and swapping blocks around, making the whole thing feel almost like a hands-on brain teaser rather than just pure calculation.
The pacing is uneven in an interesting way; one minute you’re breezing through simple sums, the next moment you hit this absolute wall where suddenly nothing clicks and the Keeper of Numbers (whose weird sarcastic comments are oddly motivating) keeps needling you along. It adds real personality to what could be just numbers on a screen.
You have to think before moving blocks—the wrong equation can send your elevator plummeting. Honestly, it has moments that feel tense but also playful. To be honest, if quick thinking under pressure isn’t your thing this may feel intense at times. But for anyone who likes tricky math or logic twists packed inside a moody escape room setting, well... there’s nothing quite like it out there.
Sometimes I wondered if it was getting too hard too fast. Then again—that part really matters, really.

I went into Mysterious Elevator expecting another run-of-the-mill puzzle game but got caught up almost immediately by how atmospheric (and sometimes unsettling) it felt just being trapped with that Keeper of Numbers mocking me after every mistake. The logic puzzles start out pretty forgiving but take sharp turns into complex territory—you know the ones where you think you've got it, then realize you've swapped the wrong block? That bit hit me more than once.
Honestly though, I did get frustrated with how sudden some jumps in difficulty were; one second easygoing math fun then suddenly bam—stuck on something subtle for ten minutes straight. Still, when things finally clicked I felt genuinely satisfied… even if the ride down was bumpier than I’d hoped.
