You’re dropped right into the role of a mysterious ninja—ghostly, apparently, but also surprisingly swift on your feet. Ninja Ghost isn’t all about wild slashing though. Yes, there’s action and swordplay, but it’s really about timing—and choices. Each level kind of nudges you in two directions: will you clear out every single enemy or just focus on that main boss? Sometimes it’s tempting to go full chaos mode, other times you’ll be sneaking past guards before they even blink. The controls are pretty sharp (that part really matters, really). Slow motion is the big hook here; hit a button and suddenly everything feels cinematic—you can dodge projectiles or just soak up how cool it all looks. Some stages get tough fast; if you lose patience easily, well, expect a bit of frustration sprinkled in. Not everyone needs to love stealth games to get into this one. It works for folks who just like dashing around and causing trouble, but methodical players might get the most out of its trickier bits. I kept wondering if there was another way through each map—sometimes there was, sometimes not. It’s interesting how often it surprised me with tiny twists.

At first I figured Ninja Ghost would be all-out action—run in, slice everyone up. But once I tried playing more carefully (you know, actually using stealth), things got tense in the best way. The slow motion made dodging feel clever instead of cheap. Still, some moments felt a bit too punishing if you messed up even slightly. There were spots where I wished movement was just a hair snappier—not enough to ruin anything though. I liked having both aggressive and sneaky options; sometimes I'd swap halfway through because plans rarely lasted long anyway! So yeah—the unpredictable pace kept me alert more than most arcade games do.
